Reality star Katie Price broke her feet in Turkey back in 2020, but her ex Carl Woods claims it happened moments after he confronted her about her alleged cheating
Katie Price broke her feet just moments after being caught sexting an England footballer, her ex claims.
The 46-year-old reality star broke both of her feet after falling 25ft while on holiday in Turkey with Carl, 35, back in 2020. She was bound to a wheelchair for a while after the nasty accident.
The mum-of-five previously claimed she suffered the fall while “pretending to be a horse” and jumping over a bush into an underground car park. But her ex Carl has now claimed Katie lied about how it happened.
Her ex said she actually smashed her feet while very drunk after car dealer Carl caught her sexting a Premier League footballer. Carl said he confronted Katie about the alleged cheating at the hotel bar.
He claims the tense conversation prompted her to storm out of the room and outside of the hotel, after which she ran through a bush and fell 25ft. Carl told The Sun: “The night she smashed her feet she was really, really drunk.
“I had caught her messaging a Premier League footballer as she had tried to send videos to him while we were at the bar and was waving her phone around. She was very sloppy because of the booze and that’s how I found out.
“Before that night, I had seen him try to FaceTime her when we were out of the dental clinic and she had cancelled it. When I confronted her she went wild as she’d been busted.
“She ran out of the room and went down the fire exit stairs, across the reception of the hotel, and straight out of the hotel car park. She didn’t mean to do it but she was running like a lunatic and she went off the edge. She ran through the bush and the ground disappeared beneath her. That’s how she really did her feet.”
Carl said he and Katie spent all night in the hospital and that she told him she didn’t think he liked her and that the alleged cheating wouldn’t happen again. Katie’s ex insists he gave the star the “benefit of the doubt” and decided to forgive her.
Katie’s sister Sophie has since hit back at Carl’s cheating claims, saying he’s trying to “cash in” on the former glamour model. She told the Mirror: “Another ex-cashing in on Kate… for someone who didn’t want to be famous he’s not doing a very good job at it…”
Woods said the best part of their relationship was when she was bound to a wheelchair after the fall. He said that after she moved in with him, he did everything for her to aid her recovery – this included bathing her, carrying her around and taking her to hospital appointments.
Woods said that was the best part of their relationship “because she couldn’t cheat” on him, and that after she recovered things went downhill again. He said before this, she had been “wonderful”.
Carl previously accused Katie of cheating on him with the former England footballer on a ‘boozy night out’, claiming she confessed to sleeping with the sports star in August 2022. Katie has also accused Carl of cheating on her during their relationship, which started in June 2020.
The Love Island star claimed he suspected she was cheating on him multiple times in 2021 but decided to ignore these suspicions as he had no evidence. The car dealer claimed Katie cheated on him during the filming of Mucky Mansion.
He alleged she didn’t come home one night and texted her in the middle of the night saying she loved him. Carl claims he found out about the cheating and that she apologised for it, claiming it was “just a drunken s**g”.
He claimed Katie told him “you knew I was sh****g him anyway.” But the pair patched things up and she allegedly told him she would change.
Woods alleged Katie cheated on him again last year with a 23-year-old footballer and that Katie’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler who told him about it – Carl claimed she used a family member’s Instagram account to message him.
He said he’d walked in on Katie FaceTiming the footballer halfway through an OnlyFans shoot, and that Katie lied about who she was talking to, saying it was her therapist. Carl said he told her if she got naked for all of her therapists.
Woods also alleged Katie cheated on him in Thailand, one month after he found out about the second footballer. Woods claimed he walked out last December as he couldn’t take it anymore and that she was being “unbearable”.
He said: “I couldn’t take it any more. It went from her telling me we are soulmates and we’ll be together forever to me getting in the car and never coming back.”
