Former Alabama Crimson Tide AJ McCarron has had it with the new-age players.

It’s been over 10 years since McCarron last suited up in an Alabama uniform, but his fire still burns the same.

Appearing on the McCready & Siskey podcast this week with hosts Neal McCready and Tyler Siskey, AJ McCarron did not mince any words when he tore into what he called a “different era” at Alabama, one that has seen a noticeable lack of discipline.

The former National Champion claimed that players are too focused on social media apps like TikTok and on the “personal gain” they can get from NIL initiatives.

“I think for sure the standard that everybody was used to for so long after Alabama went through a bunch of hell leading up to those glorious years, I think it’s definitely a different era,” AJ McCarron said on the podcast. “I don’t think you’ll see the same standard from discipline, just things that the team seems to do.

“And it’s a new day and age. Everybody’s worried about f—ing TikTok and having a reel and being on highlights from their personal self and personal gain and how much money they can get from NIL. I mean, we just didn’t have that s*** back then. So, it was a team sport. You came together as a team because you had one common goal, because you knew that’s how you were going to make your money was by winning.

“Winning attracts people to that program. It attracts scouts, GMs. It attracts ownership to allow yourself to have that opportunity to go make yourself a lot of money and change your family tree for a long period of time. You can just tell it’s not the same. So, I would think ‘Bama fans should get used to that in a way of, ‘Hey, it’s not gonna be what you knew from 2008 up ’til last year where there was just a certain standard.’”

For the first time since 2007, Alabama football has lost two games in a season before the month of November.

Tennessee rallied to beat No. 7 Alabama 24-17 Saturday at Neyland Stadium.

The loss dropped the Crimson Tide to 5-2, and now they are ranked No. 7 in the nation.

AJ McCarron Knows What Success At Alabama Looks Like

AJ McCarron expressed his frustration with the current state of Alabama football on a recent podcast. He ripped the new-age payers for caring more about NIL and TikTok.

McCarron played for Alabama from 2010-2013.

He was a part of two national championship teams and enjoyed four victories against the Tennessee Volunteers.

AJ McCarron was the most prolific quarterback in Alabama history, amassing 686 completions for 9,019 yards and 77 touchdowns.

Angel Reese couldn’t have imagined her rookie season concluding with an unexpected wrist injury, but she certainly hasn’t let that stop her from making waves on social media.

The Chicago Sky star is going insanely viral this week after she took to her Instagram page and posted a carousel of pictures and a video in a risky outfit.

Reese was sporting a white crop top that showed nearly her entire back. The front of the top had the word “MOTHER” printed, while the back had “F–KER.”

She completed the look with skin-tight leopard-printed leggings that were see-through as her underwear could be seen.

Her first four pictures showed Angel Reese standing and sitting as she showed off her outfit to the camera.

Her final post showed Reese giving her best model walk as the back of her pants showed just how see-through they were as her back panties were quite visible.
