Gisele Bündchen’s Due Date Is Closer Than We Thought—Here’s When Tom Brady Found Out She’s Pregnant

Congratulations are in order for Gisele Bündchen and her boyfriend Joaquim Valente! The supermodel and her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend are expecting their first child together.
“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” a source told People. The two have been dating since June 2023 after the Victoria’s Secret Angel divorced NFL player Tom Brady.
“They have been dating since June (2023). They’re taking it slow. They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other,” a source to People said. “He was a huge comfort for Gisele while she went through her divorce. Their friendship turned romantic after the divorce.”
When is Gisele Bündchen’s due date?
Sources told TMZ that Gisele in 5 or 6 months of her pregnancy on October 28, 2024, meaning that her due date will be around the end of January to early March of 2025. The site also reported that Tom Brady reportedly knew of his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen’s pregnancy before the news was made public Monday. The happy couple is planning to have a home birth, according to People.
This is Gisele’s third child, after giving birth to two kids with Tom Brady— Benjamin Rein, 14 and Vivian Lake, 11. Gisele also co-parented Tom’s firstborn John “Jack” Edward Thomas with his ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan. Both Tom and Gisele share custody over Benjamin and Vivian.
As for why the Super Bowl champ and the model divorced, Gisele explained the real reason why they broke up to Vanity Fair. “Sometimes you grow together; sometimes you grow apart,” she says. “When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make. That doesn’t mean you don’t love the person. It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life that you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right? It’s a dance. It’s a balance.” She continued, “When you love someone, you don’t put them in a jail and say, ‘You have to live this life.’ You set them free to be who they are, and if you want to fly the same direction, then that’s amazing.”
Sources told People in June 2024 that Gisele has “blossomed” since her split from Brady. “She is secure and happy, and so busy with her life that she doesn’t have time to dwell on the negatives out there,” the source said.
