The couple were allegedly set to star in their own fly-on-the-wall TV show which would have documented the lead up to their wedding as well as the big day itself.
Kerry and Ryan had initially planned to tie the knot in Las Vegas, but those plans were sadly called off due to all of Kerry’s children wanting to be present.
However, with the pair now calling off their romance for good, the series is said to have been scrapped as a result.
Kerry Katona has been dealt a fresh blow as she’s reportedly lost a huge TV deal in the wake of her split from fiancé Ryan Mahony
It was reported on Friday that the TV personality, 44, and the fitness trainer, 36, who endured a rocky romance, have gone their separate ways four years after getting engaged
A source told The Sun: ‘Kerry was secretly working on a reality show that was going to follow them in the lead up to their wedding, as well as filming all the action from the big day.
‘There wasn’t a channel attached yet but Kerry had done a deal with a big production company and was really excited.
‘Sadly, now the marriage is off, there is no TV show. It’s a blow for Kerry but right now, she has enough on her plate dealing with her heartbreak and her mum in hospital.’
The insider added that it’s ‘not a great time’ for the star, but noted that she’s a ‘survivor’ who has ‘battled through a lot worse.’
MailOnline have contacted Kerry’s representatives who declined to comment.
Kerry revealed the split news in response to one of her Instagram followers, after she revealed she’d offered Ryan a ‘free pass’ to have a baby with someone else.
Underneath a post sharing a health update about her mother, one person wrote: ‘so much love to you both and and is the Dr single?’
Confirming her newly-single status, Kerry wrote: ‘No but I am!’

At the time, she said: ‘I want to say a massive thank you to my mum, who has been my rock during the last couple of weeks. I’ve been staying at hers and she’s really looked after me.’
‘If I’m honest, I’ve felt more lonely than ever during my recovery. Ryan was away getting a tattoo in London when I went into hospital and I haven’t seen him since my surgery over a week ago.
‘That upset me, because it made me feel unsupported and I could have done with the emotional support. I’m always the ‘strong mum’ in our house and this week I really wanted to be looked after and have him here, but I had my mum instead.’
However it seemed things between them had been patched up in July, where she addressed their turbulent relationship and admitted she ‘couldn’t be without him’.
Alongside a loved-up snap of the couple, Kerry wrote: ‘Another date might with my man. Honestly we’ve had our ups and downs but I wouldn’t want to be without this man. I love you! I know it’s soppy but I do.’
Around the same time she revealed she’s been forced to cancel their Vegas wedding due to her children wanting to be present.
Kerry, who’s been married three times, joked that the kids had already seen her walk down the aisle a few times, so could sit this one out.
She told OK!: ‘Ryan and I were looking to go to Vegas to finally get married but Molly and Lilly said, “Don’t you dare do that without us”.

Earlier this year, Kerry admitted she felt ‘unsupported’ by Ryan and had temporarily moved in with her mother, Sue, as cracks in their relationship began to show
‘I told them they’d already been at too many of my weddings! That put those plans on the back burner’.
Kerry explained: ‘I don’t want to deprive him in fact, I’ve given him a pass and said, “If this is something you want to pursue, leave me now!”
‘I never want someone to not have that feeling of having their own child. But I feel like I should be enough for a man.’
After making the claims, Kerry revealed she had a change of heart and did in fact want to have a sixth child. Kerry is a mum of five but shares no biological children with Ryan.
She is also mum to Heidi, 17, and Max, 15, with ex husband Mark Croft and eight-year-old DJ from her relationship with the late George Kay.
She also dated Emily In Paris star Lucien Laviscount 12 years ago. Lucien and Kerry met during their time on Celebrity Big Brother in 2011, when he was 19 at the time and she was 31. At the time, Lucien described Kerry as ‘amazing’, adding: ‘When I’m with her, I don’t feel like there’s an age gap at all.’ Back then, Kerry dubbed them ‘friends with benefits’, later admitting they called it quits because “I would never want to take his childhood away from him!” 12 years after their whirlwind romance, Kerry broke her silence on their viral relationship as she branded Lucien ‘charming’ and ‘talented’. She told OK! Magazine recently: ‘Apparently my OK! magazine cover from 2011 with my former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Lucien Laviscount has gone viral on social media! ‘Lucien was very charming and obviously easy on the eye, and it was all just a bit of fun.’
Kerry couldn’t believe her luck when she bagged a date with hunky Take Me Out contestant Dan Foden that same year, but within weeks their relationship was over. She told a friend back then: ‘I can’t believe I’ve pulled him. He’s dead fit he’s gorgeous. He’s got plenty of money, and the best part is he has no kids and no ex-wife.’ But game show contestant Dan struggled with having his life in the public eye and hinted that their relationship was moving too fast.
It took just weeks for the star to embark on a new relationship following her spit from George. Showing she was a woman of the times, Kerry went Instagram official with her handsome new boyfriend James English in 2017. And while the numerous posts of herself spending time with the Scottish comedian were shared on social media, the pair soon quietly went their separate ways within just two months. In fact, their split was so quiet that it wasn’t noticed until the star spoke about being a singleton once again.
