NFL Fans Are Praying For Sideline Reporter Lisa Salters After Recent Announcement

Lisa Salters reporting

Lisa Salters usually appears as a sideline reporter on “Monday Night Football” on ESPN alongside broadcasters Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

Unfortunately, she was absent for the Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ matchup and missed the week before when the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets squared off.

Her extended absence was glaring enough for Buck to comment on Salters’s situation.

“Laura Rutledge again with us tonight. We miss the heck out of Lisa Salters who is tending to a family matter. Hope to have her back next week, or whenever she gets things settled.”

“We’re certainly thinking of her on this night, as we were a week ago,” said Buck.

Lisa Salters Has A Very Diverse Sports Media Career

Salters has much more to her career than being the longest-tenured MNF sideline reporter in the NFL.

She also had experience as a sideline reporter for ABC’s Saturday Night Football, which focused on the NCAA.

Salters also started covering the NBA in 2002 with ESPN and ABC. Recently, she was part of the broadcast team for an NFL Divisional playoff game in the 2023-24 season.
