If the Dallas Cowboys are “America’s Team,” they are certainly not playing like it.

The Cowboys lost their third straight game on Sunday, and it feels like their season is going nowhere really fast.

The Atlanta Falcons’ social media team decided to kick them while they were down after the team’s 27-21 win over the Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Yankees found themselves being brought up as a result.

The Falcons posted a picture of a distraught Yankees fan in the crowd with the Dallas Cowboys score at the top of the picture.

“Tough week to be a Yankees fan,” the Falcons account stated.

Teams like the Cowboys, Yankees, Los Angeles Lakers, and Duke men’s basketball team are all extremely popular, and certain fans tend to lump them together, jumping on the bandwagon for all, if not most, of them.

Being trolled off the field is the least of the worries for the Cowboys as they are now just 3-5 on the season, about to face a divisional rival in the Philadelphia Eagles, and may have to do so without quarterback Dak Prescott, who left Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury.

Falling to 3-5 on the season Sunday after a 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons adds another chapter in what has become an incredibly disappointing year for a team with Super Bowl aspirations heading into the 2024 campaign.

The Dallas Cowboys Are On The Cusp of Having A Lost Season

With the Washington Commanders now 7-2 on the season and the Eagles 5-2, the Dallas Cowboys can’t afford another loss next week.

They have a grand chance to make up a game against the second-place Eagles and gain some much-needed momentum.

However, the team will not know where they stand until we find out what is going on with the injury to Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.
