Taylor Swift’s rumored birthday present for Travis Kelce is the ‘most Taylor Swift’ gift imaginable
If rumors are to be believed, then Taylor Swift is prepping the music video release of So High School in honor of Travis Kelce’s birthday on Saturday.
Both Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are turning 35 this year, and while we aren’t yet sure of the couple’s plans for Taylor’s December bash, Travis is gearing up for his annual Kelce Car Jam on Saturday. Outside of celebrations, here’s to hoping that gift-giving extraordinaire Travis gets a few lavish gifts of his own.
Travis Kelce is spending his birthday at a charity event
Though the celebrity couple missed one another’s birthdays last year due to scheduling conflicts, with Taylor obviously being attached to the Eras Tour, it seems things are looking up this year. Travis has confirmed that Taylor will be attending his Kelce Car Jam charity event on Saturday.
No one Is certain how they will spend their evening, but dedicated Swifties think they’ve stumbled upon the “most Taylor Swift” gift imaginable, a music video for So High School from The Tortured Poets Department album.
The song seemingly references Travis a few times, with fans arguing that it would make the perfect gift.
Swiftie Jojo (@swiftieversenews13) shared her reasoning on TikTok, explaining: “Aside from the Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce breakup rumors, which I think we have put to rest, the other latest rumor in the Swiftie community is that So High School might just be the next single from The Tortured Poets Department.
“While So High School was a dream choice as a single, it was, honestly, one I did not think we’d actually get as a single. I was thinking Down Bad was going to be the next single.”
“But if it’s true that So High School is the next single and if she were to drop a music video, say, this Friday, maybe Saturday, October 5, a certain someone’s 35th birthday, and if that certain someone, Travis Kelce, were to be in that music video with her, how amazing and karmically sweet would that be to come following a week of stupid breakup rumors?”
Fans are obsessed with the idea
Despite the running joke that Taylor Swift enjoys centering herself in basically everything, like releasing alternative editions of existing products whenever she dips in the charts, fans are thrilled at the idea of a Taylor Swift music video featuring her current boo.
“So High School is at the top of my TTPD list! So cute and fun. Wouldn’t a video with Travis be awesome?” one said, while another added, “So high school music video featuring Travis would be incredible.”
Someone else revealed: “I’m so excited because my husband and I danced to so high school on our wedding day.”
Fans were slightly less kind on X, formally Twitter, as one penned: “So High School becoming a single on Travis’ birthday week is such a Taylor Swift thing to do.”
