Pop star Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, have been on the receiving end of some criticism over the past couple of weeks amid their growing relationship. However, they don’t seem to be bothered by all the negative talks around them.
Now, a new report has shed more light on why the power couple hasn’t really been affected by the hate they are getting.
For those unaware, Kelce has largely struggled at the start of the 2024 season. While he appears to be regaining his form after showing out in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers, it wasn’t the case through the first three weeks of the NFL season.
Kelce made just eight receptions for 69 yards and zero touchdowns from Weeks 1 to 3 before making seven catches for 89 yards in Week 4 alone. As a result, several fans and analysts blamed his relationship with Swift and other off-court distractions as reasons for his early struggles.

Despite that, Swift and Kelce are by the narrative surrounding them, with a Page Six report noting that the two are “thick-skinned.”
“They are both tough people,” a Page Six source noted.
It’s not surprising that both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are not concerned with all the backlash they continue to get. They are public figures, and they understand that it comes with such drawbacks.
The good news is they continue to be supportive of each other regardless of everything they are going through.
